Naylor07
Hello, I just moved by H100i GTX into a new build and it seems the pump is not working correctly. I have the cable plugged into the CPU fan spot on my motherboard and the two radiator fans connected to the splitter. In the BIOS, the CPU fan is not detected. In Link, I see the pump RPMs at 0, but the fans show with their RPMs. I have messed around in the BIOS some, but it doesn't seem to see the CPU fan at all. I also tried it in the dedicated water pump header, but got the same result. I plugged a regular fan into the CPU fan header and I can see it in the BIOS, so the header appears to be working. CPU temps spike up to 90-100 obviously and the water spikes up to 60, so obviously the pump is not moving water to cool it. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know before I request an RMA. I am using a new ASRock board (Z370 Taichi ATX)
c-attack
Go ahead and request the RMA. If the device is not recognized by the the bios, that usually means there has been an electrical failing. Seems pretty clear the pump is not running.
