Hello everyone;

As i mentioned on the title can i use ll140 fans for radiator fans on h115i.

And if i use those is there gonna be a heat problem(i use stock h115i fans) ?

Or should i use hd140 fans ?

Thanks

Yes, you can use HD140 or LL140 fans without a loss of performance. Assuming you are not running a 16 core processor for long duration, maximal processing, the fans don't have a huge impact on end performance. I run the HD140s on a 280mm and my coolant delta at a fixed 1000 rpm is about 5C. If I blast them or some other set of fans at 1750 rpm, I might get back all of 1C. Certainly not worth it. My 8700K at 5.0GHz is not the largest TDP in history, but that is one of the few discriminating details.

You can use them. They won't be as efficient or performance as the HD fans or the stock fans but you should be OK on most systems.

We could tell you better with some system specs.

First thanks for the answer. I've done the system specs. There's no oc right now but i might oc.

So i want a rgb radiator fans but i cant choose beetwen hd140,ll140,ml140 ?

ll140 is better at the rgb and other's better at performance ?

At the end i just want better performance and better lighting than the stock fans for h115i.

You should probably choose based on the lighting style you prefer. That will have the everyday impact. Cooling differences are hard to find. I have the ML and HD sets. I cannot measure any difference between them on either my H115i Pro or my GPU 280mm that has a lot more heat to get rid off.

The HD sets has a clear frame, 12 LEDs, and looks really nice from all angles. Definite "spotlight" appearance. The LL has a more subtle, diffused light plus the inner light ring (16 LEDs total). There are specific software always running requirements for the LL and there are more particular about placement to keep the effects uniform. The ML has 4 center lit LEDs and has the most subtle appearance, like a more uniform LED fan of old. However, its advantage is it tends to be quieter at medium and better speeds, especially if inverted. I would suggest watching a few videos to see the various aesthetics, then come back for more needed details.

The idea the H115i stock fans offer better performance is based solely on their maximum speed of 2000 rpm. None of the others run that fast, which is good since most of us can't stand any fan at 2000 rpm and certainly not the SP140L that come on the cooler. Back down at a more reasonable 1000 rpm on all fans, you are going to need a microscope to discern meaningful cooling differences. One thing is for sure, all of the RGB fans have a better sound profile than the original blasters. That of course is subjective, but I have yet to see any one ever say, "I miss my old stock fans."
