Gran Axel
Hi There, I bought two LL120 fans and Commander Pro but I can't find where to connect one of the cables of the fans. The cable on the left in the picture below: https://elchapuzasinformatico.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/Corsair-LL120-RGB-10.jpg Do I need the CORSAIR RGB Fan LED Hub? Thanks! c-attack
Correct. The cable on the right side goes to the RGB Lighting Hub. 12-16 LEDs on some of these fans is way too much current for any single motherboard header to supply. It was necessary to split the lighting and fan power into two separate circuits. The RGB Bub is power gateway for the lighting. As you have two LL120s, that means you probably did not buy the triple pack that has it included. You can get it directly from Corsair. It may be possible there are some floating in local channels, but watch out for price gouging. The RGB hub comes in the LL120 Triple Pack and the LL140 Dual pack. Perhaps exchanging the 2 exiting fans for the triple or adding 2xLL140 (if applicable) is a better option. One RGB hub will power up to 6 Corsair RGB fans.
