Hello I have had this ram for some time I forgot where and when I ordered the modules. I remember going to pricewatch at the time but do not remember the distributior from whom I ordered the modules.

Any way to the point recently my reset switch malfunctioned and become locked into a position that repeatedly reset the machine I had not realized the fault until I examined the computer more competely.

some imformation on the ram modules

there is a holographic sticker on both sticks of ram

the numbers on it are as follows

CMX512-3200LLPT XMS3205v1.1

0311589

XMS3200 512MB 400MHz 2226-T1

When I put some other ram in the PC the PC operated fine I have 4 computers that use this form of ram and tried it in each computer the machines all had memory errors when the ram was used in the machines.

I am wondering about sending it in to have it tested or replaced if it is faulty if that is possible.

Thank you for you assistance in this matter and the time you spend reading and responding to this post.

Please try testing the modules one at a time with the following settings set manually.

Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts

Resulting Frequency: 166/200MHz depending on your CPU speed.

SDRAM CAS Latency: 2T

SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T

SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 2T

SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 6T

Then please test them one at a time with http://www.memtest.org to be sure!
