drossel
i am running an AMD XP 2600+ processor on an Epox 8rda+ board with 1 512MB module of Corsair CMX512-3200C2PT. I want to add another 512MB module of an Infineon PC3200 DDR400. Will this be compatible with my current set up? Will performance be better if I just add another module of the Corsair RAM I currently have? Thanks.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 16, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 16, 2005 You should match the module you have now for best performance. In addition, if you mix 2 modules that are not matched you may have to run the memory in signle channel mode as well. And you would need to match the part# and revision of our module!
