stc256
I have two sticks of valueselect that have gone bad. Memtest gets errors within 10 seconds of the start of the test. I have tried each stick individually in different slots and I still get errors. I have also tried running the memory at 266mhz and 333mhz and I still got errors. Abit NF7-S 2.0 bios 27 with default settings AMD XP1700 Radeon 9700 Windows XP SP1

stc256
Can you tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set? The ram was set at 2.5-3-3-6 and everything else was default, no preformance settings whatsoever. I even tried it in safe mode and it still doesnt work. The CPU was set at 11x133. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 17, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 17, 2005 And what is the modules part# and what did you have the memory frequency set to? With the CPU you have it should be set to something like this for best performance. CPU Freq: 133 MHz Memory Frequency: 100% Dim Voltage to 2.7 Volts Resulting Frequency: 133MHz SDRAM CAS Latency: 2.5T SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 3T SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 3T SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 7T

I have tried the ram at 133 and 166 as I have mentioned in the initial post. I have tried the setting you suggested and I still get errors.
