Manticore-X
Hello, I have seen many threads about this mobo, and my problem is just like it. The RAM will not function in dual channel mode, and I cant even get windows to boot while it is in it. Looking on the Forums i have seen a few threads about the 1024xl but none on the ll. What are the settings i need to make this box stable. This is my last try before giving up and RMAing this motherboard and complaining. Hopefully someone here knows how to fix this. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 14, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 14, 2005 I would test the modules one at a time with http://www.memtest.org to be sure.
Manticore-X
I have tested the modules seperatly, and If they arent in dual channel they will work. If there arent any ideas I guess ill RMA the board. At first I thought It was the ram, but I have already exchanged that with no change.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 14, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 14, 2005 Please make sure and set the Dim over Voltage control to +.2 Volts and if that does not solve the problem, can you tell us your complete system spec? Maybe we can identify some potential issue.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 15, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 15, 2005 You might check with the MB maker to make sure there is not a newer bios available, and I would try the other slots and maybe reset the bios and start over to make sure. Manticore-X
I updated to the K8 bios with still no success. I changed the slots, and retested each stick seperatly. If anyone has this stable, could you please post your full settings on the advanced chipset features section of the BIOS settings. Thanks
