Can you tell me the make and model of MB you have along with the CPU speed and it’s FSB as well? In addition, please tell me the bios settings you have set for both CPU and memory and any performance settings that you may have set?

OK,

The first board that the memory was new in was a ABIT NF7-M. CPU AMD2700 (333). The computer worked fine for over a year. I first believed the motherboard or hard drive had gone bad so I switched them for an ABIT NF7-2SG and 120 seagate ATA/100. I moved the memory to the new system and it could not finish formating the new drive. I got 'new' XMS3200 and the drive formated and set up just fine. So, I put the old motherboard back in with the new memory and it all worked fine. When I put the old XMS back in either motherboard setups the computer does not work at all. The old and new memory are the same (TWINX XMS3200 2@256MB 400Mhz).
