CUE and LINK does not work/install

I installed the CUE software and none of the effects work. All that happens is the RGB on the fans spaz out and just blink super fast no matter what setting is applied. When I kill the software the fans stop spazzing and revert to the default, out of the box effect. Open the software and the lights instantly start spazzing again.

 

I uninstalled CUE and installed Link and it doesn't work at all. It won't open. This is on a brand new build that has nothing else on it but Windows.

 

Any ideas what could be the issue?

Quick update. I just uninstalled Link and now all of the RGBs died. They just look like normal fans and CPU cooler.

I know what's causing the problem.

 

Something is happening when the PC goes into sleep mode. Everything works fine until it goes into sleep mode. When it comes out of sleep mode the fan LEDs become spastic and the only way to fix it is to completely uninstall the software and delete all references to the Corsair then reinstall.

 

Of course, this is a perpetual problem because as soon as the PC goes into sleep and wakes up same issue.

 

I tried the setup on a different computer and the same problem exists. It's buggy software. I guess I'm going to return these and go with another product since I can't get them to work the way I need.
