raverr
Hi ! Today I recieved a k70 lux rgb. The first time I plugged in the usb I got a 'cool' red fps lighting which I lost once I downloaded the corsair utility engine. I want to know how can I go back to that lighting and how I can switch between the fps/moba lighting styles. Thank you !
Corsair Employees Corsair Nick Posted May 4, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 4, 2018 The default lighting will appear when the iCUE software is not running. You can also create a profile in iCUE with that exact lighting, or a custom one for MOBA as well. Just click on the three line button next to profiles in the top left, and create a new profile. From there, Select lighting effects, and add layers to create the lighting you want.
raverr
Thanks for your reply When the Corsair Utility Engine is not running the keyboard goes full black. Even if I tap on the brightness button nothing happens, I might do a profile but I find it a bit weird, am I doing something wrong?
Corsair Employees Corsair Caliente Posted May 4, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted May 4, 2018 You might've overwrite it by accident. You can try setting it again. Set up a separate profile in iCUE. For the lighting effects select Static Color. You'll need two layers, one red layer as the base, then one white layer for the WSAD and arrow keys. Then assign the appropriate keys. After doing that click on the menu icon in the Profiles tab next to +. From there, there should be an SD Icon labeled Save Static Lighting, DPI and Performance to Device. Doing that will save a static lighting effect onto the K70 RGB. Now if you exit CUE completely it should default to whatever Static Lighting you saved.
