huzidada
Hey guys. Updated to iCue and loving it. I have a Commander PRO and H115i with HD140 and HD 120 fans. Everything worked well in the Link4 but now in iCue I dont see CPU temp, only H115i temp and that doesnt seem to up the fan speed when I set it to custom curve(or any curve) so it doesnt exactly detect the CPU temp to adjust fans. And in dashboard the only sensors I see is for H115 and for my RGB ram.. Also with my RGB ram it doesnt adjust well and sometimes have to restart a few times to make a change
DevBiker
Try exiting iCue and then restarting the Corsair service and then starting iCue ... that should get your CPU temps. Edited May 1, 2018 by DevBiker

However the custom curve profile I made for the fans do not work no matter which processor setting I use. Also the H115i cooler can be either Quiet or Extreme but cant select Balaced or Custom for the pump...Only the fan
DevBiker
The custom curves on which device? And the cooler pump can only be Quiet or Extreme; this was the same in Link - it could be Quiet or Performance. Balanced and custom are for the fans only.

The Custom fan curve profile via my Commander pro. No matter what I set it to or what sensor I use it spins at max RPM or Min RPM but never what I set it to. Also seems like FAN1 which was working fine yesterday, seems to be about 150 to 200RPM less than the other fans at a fixed RPM but yesterday was working fine Edited May 2, 2018 by huzidada
DevBiker
It looks like fan 1 is actually working .... the others aren't. It appears that your sensor is the cooler's temperature. That really shouldn't even be over 40C. And certainly not at 79C. That said, I've also seen issues with the Commander Pro not following a defined fan curve, as have a couple of others on the forum. It seems to follow the presets just fine ... just not the custom curves. I've had a couple of things temporarily solve the issue but not permanently. Wish I had a better answer for you there. huzidada
The sensor is showing H115 but Ive tried it on everything else. The custom curves certainly are not adequate for a 4.9GHz overclocked machine. It worked effortlessly with CUE 4 so definitely something to look into as one that is one of the most important features to have in fan control. Alll the fans work fine, the service does its own nonsense and needs to be restarted once or twice to make it work. SOmething else to look into perhaps. Otherwise everything else works perfectly
c-attack
Try clicking on the first of the three fan curve tools in the upper right hand corner of the line graph. This will reset the curve to a predefined set of values. See if the fans respond. If yes, adjust the points to the values you want by entering in a specific temperature and even fan speed (700, 950, etc) for each point you need in the boxes on the left. We seen this a few times and the fans seem to get stuck in different places from min to max. The underlying issue may still be elusive, but this was effective in sorting it for a few of us. It works to some degree and is much better. Thanks for the tip. I wonder why its elusive as it worked perfectly on CUE4. Also need to get it to work off the bat in startup. This restarting it a few times is kinda annoying
