Jousten Posted May 1, 2018 Share Posted May 1, 2018 Hey folks! I have been looking for a good RGB AiO cooler for quite some time and I think I found it with the h115i pro. Now I would love to get the Crystal 570x but I am not sure whether the h115i will fit on top? I've seen some pictures and been googling for quite some time but it's still quite uncertain for me. c-attack Posted May 1, 2018 Share Posted May 1, 2018 No chance. It is front mount, either with 2x140 or behind 3x120 RGB fans. For that specific case, I feel it is worth to go a little extra for the H150i (360mm). It is a natural fit and has a better balance in the case. Check out the pictures in this thread of how to mount the 280mm behind the existing 120mm fans. Running a 280 is a no-go for me as I urgently want to use 3 HD120s in the front, this is like the cases' best feature imo. As long as you configure the airflow correctly, you shouldn't have any issue. - Most GPU does have zero RPM fan(s) nowadays, so make sure you download a GPU configuration software such MSI Afterburner and set the fan to run at at least 45% at all time to avoid excess heat from building up. - Configure your top as exhaust. (HOT air rises up) - Configure your rear fan as exhaust. - Don't put your computer on a carpet floor. - Clean your computer regularly. (esp. the dust filters.) I'm building a new setup next month and having trouble deciding if I want a 280 in the top (Mirror Black version is said to support it) or 360 in the front. The setup I have now is a Cooler Master HAF XB. I have the 120 rad in the back in push-pull intake and the stock 3 fans in the front also as intake. This works great, as the open grill sides and top pushes air out, but in a pretty enclosed build like the 570x I'm not sure. Would it be 3 fans as intake on the front of the 360, 2 fans in the top as intake and the rear fan as exhaust? I'd be building in the 570x Mirror Black almost exactly as the video below shows.
