LED Strips keep chaning to rainbow after update

Everything was fine until I updated to v3.2.87

Now, the LED strips attached to my LNP keep changing to rainbow. In iCUE, it says it has the correct color scheme, but it actually outputs rainbow. If I switch profiles, the correct colors display for about 10 seconds before it switches back to rainbow

You don't need to post the same thing on multiple threads. Just a tip.

Can you please fill out your system details as well?

Finally ... I guess since you uninstalled, there aren't any logs? That makes it pretty impossible for us to assist and/or get the dev team to fix whatever issue it was.

Sorry, point of other post was to look for old version downloads, but I found one.

I reinstalled to the new version and figured I'd just unplug my LNP, rather than recreate the new profiles (problem's still occuring). So that should give me new logs?

What specs are relevant? Just Corsair stuff?

H100i v2

CLCP -> LL120 x7

LNP -> LED strips x4

Other stuff, just in case:

8700k CPU

Strix Z370-E mobo

4x8GB Trident Z RGB 3600MHz CL16 RAM

Strix 1060 6GB OC

EVGA G3 650W PSU

It's an issue with static colors and the Lighting Node Pro. I'd seen this with Instant Lighting; I didn't realize that it impacted any static color on the NoPro. But it does.

To workaround this ... rather than a static color, set it to "Color Shift". Have the two colors off by 1 value. For example, if you want all red, all the time ... set color 1 to 255, 0, 0 and then color 2 to 255, 1, 0. Your eyes won't see the difference but it'll force iCue to update the color values for the NoPro's RGB channels.

And all system specs are relevant. Please use the link "Edit System Specs" at the top.

I'm getting the same thing on 2 LNP's, and my CoPro also. I'll get the logs tonight after work. It seems to be going back to hardware default? I tried forcing firmware updates on those devices to no avail. Same with XOC running or not, and Aura uninstalled.

*Edit*I see your suggestion now and will try it tonight.....

Very clever, this worked. I have a 10-color gradient and it would have been a pain to remake all 10 colors as a Color Shift but it looks like you only need one LED with a time-dependent effect to keep the rest from changing. Thanks!
