knives88
I created and set up a custom pump / fan profile from the Corsair Link. When I turn off and on the PC, the fan profile is not maintained by the H150i Pro (I have disabled the start of the Corsair Link). It's normal? knives88
You need to save it to the device through the Options -> Devices -> use my current settings as default. I have tried, but at each restart the pump resets on " balanced "
c-attack
The pump cannot be set to a custom profile. It is either Quiet (1100)/Balanced (2100)/Extreme(~3000). Balanced is what most people will want for both desktop and heavier work. What are you trying to save it as?
knives88
I'm trying to save the Performance profile (@ 2820 rpm). Having moved to an R7 2700X, I noticed that by setting the pump in performance mode, the processor's heat swings can be better managed. With the previous 1800X I did not notice any difference between the two modes. Possibly this operation (save profile) can also be done with iCUE? c-attack
For iCUE, see below. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=177550
knives88
For iCUE, see below. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=177550 With iCUE, the pump speed is maintained at each restart even with the program closed. However, in the backgroud there are still two active Corsair services (with the Corsair Link closed the services are not present) but they are in conflict with Hwinfo. By closing the two services from the Task Manager, Hwinfo returns to work but the pump speed returns to balance. P.S. Can the Corsair Link work properly with Hwinfo if I disable monitoring of the H150i Pro and HX850i?
c-attack
Good question. I am not sure if it will work or not and my preference for the more detailed monitoring of HWMonitor is why I go back to Link + CUE on occasion. Some of the iCUE guys might have a better idea of how to disable certain features and still make it work.
DevBiker
P.S. Can the Corsair Link work properly with Hwinfo if I disable monitoring of the H150i Pro and HX850i? Yes, it should. It's worked for me, at least.
knives88
I did a test of a couple of hours and the CL + Hwinfo can work together. The only problem I encounter is when I open Hwinfo the fan of the HX850i returns to default mode and stops. In order to load the custom profile, I have to reopen the CL interface.
