Sybre
I normally don't resurrect threads, but IDGAF. I'm on a ****ing farm with the closest house to mine being over a mile away and I have this problem. Corsair's software just sucks ***.
MaxMax
here the same issue, mouse pointer jumps randomly every 3-5 min to the left border of the screen, suppticket #760451, Corsair wants to swap mouse at my expense, i did already with my dealer, 2nd mouse same issue. it is for sure a Software Problem, also my 2nd Problem: the mouse loses all key bindings after Sleep or Restart of Computer, i than have to manually rebind all to the mouse Buttons in ICUE Software, nothin else helps, no Restart of sw or Services or unpluggin, only Manual rebinding of each key to ist Setting i want it to have. Tzseng
I'm using Dark Core SE, having the same cursor jump to far left problem too... Whenever this happens, the yellow exclamation and battery indicator appear. The only way to temporary solve this is exit iCUE, which is real stupid... mpoffo
Hmm was thinking of getting this mouse but may need to hold off or go another route. Hopefully they will address this soon. It would be a pretty big deal I would think for them to address.
voltboyee
Just chiming in that I bought a Dark Core SE last week and am having the same issue on wireless. If I look at the settings page of iCUE for the Dark Core SE, occasionally the Status / Battery changes to "Disconneted" and shortly afterwards the cursor jumps. I have returned the first mouse to my retailer and received a second Dark Core which exhibits the same problem. I have raised a ticket with Corsair and they are giving me instructions on how to flash the same firmware again but using a manual override method. I can't get it working though. Not sure how that will help anyway. Really frustrated because I like Corsair products and really wanted to like this mouse. I have Corsair case, RAM, Water cooler, K95 Keyboard and now this Dark Core mouse.

It would be a pretty big deal I would think for them to address. I started this topic 4 months ago. At the same time I contacted Corsair support several times, explaining the problem as clear as I can. There are few topics here updated periodically. Since that we had zero responses and not a single firmware update attempting to fixing the issue. They just don't give a crap, deal with it. PEneoark
I managed to flash the firmware a couple of times, no changes. Save your time. There's no point really. Until they fix the software, this mouse is worthless as a wireless or BT mouse. I hope people stop buying the mouse for now.
Apophis3
I just wanted to chime in that I don't have this issue while using BT. I just switched to using the dongle, and I'll game for a bit and see if it happens. EDIT: After an hour and a half, I got treated to a device drop/redetected indication from Windows, and mouse stopped responding. Turned mouse off/on restored functionality. Not good, Corsair. Apophis3
follow-Up: Noticed the same Disconnected behavior when the mouse goes to Sleep. Perhaps the mouse is erroneously going into and then out of sleep when it shouldn't be, and is causing the resets of the sensor and other issues. I'd check the firmware code governing this. MaxMax
newest update: Corsair Supp thinks my wireless dongle receiver is defective, they send me a new one. i will post here if the new dongle solves this issue, but i guess not, because i swapped already the mouse AND dongle USB receiver 2x for new ones, and every time the same tilting left mouse pointer, which renders the mouse in wireless mode useless for any serious online gaming, when u cannot aim proberly cause the mouse jumps randomly to the left xD btw in bluetooth mode the tilting does not appear, but the latency in bluetooth mode is so awfull, it feels like if u have a ping of 350ms between your input on the mouse, until the mousepointer starts to move...so bluetooth mode is only useable for office work on a laptop or so... Apophis3
Just had the mouse cursor issue going to upper left corner repeatedly happen. It occurred upon waking from Sleep, and then turning mouse on. Wouldn't stop resetting to corner. Fixed by unplugging dongle, and putting back in. So, it's a software issue big-time. MaxMax
update from me: no new dongle received, idk when corsair wants to ship it....my ticket had been closed on 21th august 2018 by corsair support, even with new icue v3.7.99 dark core RGB SE still randomly tilts to left side of screen in wireless mode.... Apophis3
fixed my issue by doing a fresh surface calibration. Problem didn't exist for me until last month, then it became noticeable. Now it's back to being nice again.

Apophis3
Resetting to far left is usually from RF interference, causing the mouse and dongle to momentarily unsync. No firmware or software update will fix this. Try disabling any unnecessary wireless hardware, like unused WiFi bands, BlueTooth enabled devices, etc. They all use 2.4GHz. You can also use a USB extension cable to place the dongle somewhere with better reception. One chap here discovered it was his TV's BlueTooth causing interference. MaxMax
did not help, i dont have bluetooth enabled devices, and the mouse is the only RF device, i dont have WLAN on my main PC.
Apophis3
Just because you don't use BlueTooth or WLan on your PC, they still operate in your home where your PC is, and they broadcast RFs.
