aindriu80
Hi, I'm thinking of upgrading my budget setup : Ryzen 1200 8 GB (2x4 GB) DDR4 3200 MHz CMK8GX4M2B3200C16 Vengeance LPX. Gigabyte 1030 GA-AB350M-Gaming 3 (1.x) Motherboard (F22 Bios) The problem is that the RAM I have at the moment only supports first getn Ryzen processors and is not listed for Ryzen 2. https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GA-AB350M-Gaming-3-rev-1x#support-dl Do you know if it is a motherboard problem or a limitation with the memory, maybe it might work anyway with Ryzen 2600/2700 ? Icould either buy a new motherboard, new RAM or a 1st gen Ryzen 1600/1700 but I don't understand why the RAM won't work ? Thanks
