Why would corsair link cause an M.2 drive, that has no moving parts to click? Whomever decided this update was necessary needs a new job.

It's not that simple. They couldn't easily remove the functionality for one type of drive vs another.

Still waiting on sound control for the overly expensive LL fans and commander that is prevalent in just about every other RGB fan on the market. I find it amusing that Corsair charges a premium for components, and then skimps on the programming every other "patch". I regret ever buying this garbage. Eps
Hey GuidoSalducci, So rather than explain the issue and whats happening, here's an actual solution. Same boat as you. I log my temps to a csv and having my m2 missing is a pain in the *** as it has the most variable temps of this system i built. To solve this issue I uninstalled the latest version of Link and installed 4.9.6.19. I didn't need to remove configs. http://softwaredownloads.corsair.com/Files/Corsair-Link/Corsair-LINK-Installer-v4.9.6.19.zip https://www.corsair.com/ww/en/downloads Mines working again and I'm happy. I'll update with caution next time. It would be nice if there was a summary of the changes in the update window or at least a link to patch notes. My system has no mechanical drives so the update essentially removes functionality to fix an issue I don't experience.
