EDIT 03-09-2005.

Got the new sticks and they are great.

Thanks Corsair.

Hi.

I bought four 512Mb modules of CMX512RE-3200LLPT DDR in December of 2003 from Newegg, and now two of them are causing my system to crash.

I isolated the 2 sticks by trying them in different configurations, on different motherboards, and with Different Operating system.

I used Win 2K and Win XP Pro.

I tried them in a MSI K8T Master2-FAR and Tyan K8W S2885.

I get random crashes with the 2 sticks installed, I can run folding@home, and Prime95 crashes right away.

Newegg says I need to contact Corsair for the RMA.

My question is, since I want all four modules to be the same, should I RMA all four, or just the two that are failing?

Also, how do I get a RMA number?

TIA.

I would just do the 2 that are failing and go from there.

Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!

Just wanna say thanks for the help.

Got the new sticks and have a uptime of 3+ days at full load.

You guys rock!
