MRxm0nk3yman
I have a basic grasp on the idea of the different types of fans that can be used, but the main questions are hard to find answers to. If I plug a Corsair PWM RGB fan, no matter the type, into the h100i’s fan connectors, would I be able to control the RGBs in them? If so then stop reading here. If that’s not possible, where would I connect the RGB fans? If I need to get a controller, would I plug the controller into the motherboard or would I plug it into the cooler’s connectors? DevBiker
The Corsair RGB Fans would plug into the H100iV2's fan connectors to control fan speed only. You could use the HD, LL or ML RGB fans (not SP-RGB; they are 3-pin/DC powered). The RGB will have a separate connector and controller. See the RGB FAQ linked in my signature for a TON of information that'll tell you everything you need to know.
