Skarpretter
Hi. I just bought a corsair hx1200i to replace my old hx850 silver. My question is, can i use my old pci-e and sata cables from the sleeved cable kit (CP-8920007)?. Edit: I have looked at this https://www.corsair.com/us/en/psu-cable-compatibility. My hx850 silver (CMPSU-850HX) is made by CWT, same manufacturer. Cant find it on that list. Edited April 14, 2018 by Skarpretter
DevBiker
That PSU falls under the HX "Original Version" from what I can tell. It's a semi-modular PSU. So that would be a no ... can't be used.
Skarpretter
Thanks for the reply. I decided to use the flat cables that came with the hx1200i in my 570x crystal black. The psu is overkill but it was the only one i could find in stock in my country.
