ekeeton
My computer is configured with two Corsair XMS 512Mb PC 2700 DDR memory sticks. (CMX512-2700C2) After two years of excellent performance, the system now fails on POST when the suspect memory stick is installed. The diagnostic bracket on my MSI KT3 mobo indicates memory failure when the POST fails. The failure always occurs when the suspect stick is installed. I have reseated the stick several times and tried different slots without success. There is no failure when it's removed and its identical twin is the only memory stick installed. I did not get around to overclocking this system as stock performance was more than adequate for my needs. The only logical diagnosis is that the memory stick has failed. Will you please issue me an RMA#. Thanks, Ed Keeton
