AceGoober
I sent 2 sets of Corsair modules (TwinX1024-3200LLPT and TwinX1024-3200C2) off to Corsair Warranty Dept on 02-04-05. Both packages were received by Corsair at 10:09am on 02-07-05 and signed for by WU. I have not heard anything as of yet and was wondering what the status might be? I did not want to post in the Warranty forum but I was unable to find any place on the Corsair website where I could check status. Thank you for your time! AceGoober
I just got both sets back today. I do have a few questions though: 1. I sent off 2 sets of TwinX memory modules which were certified to work together in a dual memory configuration. The modules I got back were not in a TwinX packaging scheme, but instead, were packaged as individual modules. Why was I not sent 2 sets of TwinX modules like I originally had? 2. The TwinX1024-3200C2 modules I received have different version numbers. One is v4.2 and the other is v5.1. Here are the photos: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v210/AceGoober/3200C2-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v210/AceGoober/3200C2-2.jpg Why was I not given the same version of modules? Thank you for your valuable time!
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 10, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 10, 2005 It looks like you submitted the RMA as 2 single modules instead of 1 Twinx set! But please call our customer Service at 888-222-4346 and Dial "0" that will take you right to them.
AceGoober
I went ahead and tested both modules in a dual-channel configuration (Abit IC7-MAX3, P4 3.4Ghz EE) and they work fine together. Same with the other 2 modules I received back. Because of this, I won't worry about returning them for replacement. Have a great weekend! :sunglasse :p:
