marklarr
I'd like to know if I can set it up so that when I press a button, the rbg will turn on and then off after a few seconds of no button pressing. As it stands now, the lights just stay on permanently. The only way to turn them off is too hit the light button. The lights on my Logitech keyboard turn on after just hovering over the keys and turn off after a few seconds of no typing. Ideally, this is what I'd like with my k70. If it's even possible. Any help is appreciated. Thanks Edited April 1, 2018 by marklarr
xMacias
Yes this is in Advanced settings, so you'll have to create a custom effect instead of using the predefined ones. But in the advanced effects, you can create a timer for how long the effect will play and then on the additional settings on the right side, you can have the lighting turn off after playing a certain amount of times. So if your lighting was set for all the keys to turn white when pressing anything for 10 seconds, you could have the lighting play twice for a total of 20, and if you didn't press anything for 20 seconds, they would turn off. Thanks for the info. Dumb question... what software do I need to do this?

marklarr
Got the timer set up but can't figure out how to set it so that the RGB turns on when I lightly hover on the keys. Any idea? Thanks
Corsair Employees Corsair Mint Posted April 3, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted April 3, 2018 I think that would require a sensor on the keyboard itself to see you hover your hands above the keys.
