MSI K8N Neo & TWINX1024-3200XLPT

I wish to upgrade the memory on my PC and need some advice/clarification on what is the best route for me. I have been advised the TWINX1024-3200XLPT is the best option as I want 1GB and the best performance.

However, it seems some people have been experiencing problems with this MB. Or is that just with the Value Select range of memory?

Also am I right in understanding that memory will not run at DDR 400 with my system but at DDR333 (PC2700) speed because of the Athlon Processor.

Any advice would be welcome.

SYSTEM:

MSI K8N Neo (MS-7030)

Athlon 64 3400+

XMS3200XL are our fastest modules and will run great in this system, but you might not be able to run 2 modules at their tested setting because of chipset loading. However, most of the socket 754 MB's we have tested ran with out problems with 2 modules in slots 1-3 or 2-3 with the voltage set to 2.8 Volts and the timings set to Cass 2-3-2-5. This MB was one we tested so you should be fine, just get the latest bios first thing and load setup defaults and then set the setting I gave you.
