backslashV
The 1st unit I received ha display issues (no sgnal from any of the ports) and very loud after boot. The 2nd unit I received today has the following temps in a 22C room and sounds very loud on idle (around 39db) as opposed to the advertised 20db! also my wifi speeds are very bad @ around 35Mbps whereas my Surface gets 115Mbps, both sitting 2 meters from the router. interested in knowing your wifi speeds and antenna orientation. are these normal? [EDIT] found another issue with the pc: weird crackling noise coming out of the left side: video here: https://streamable.com/ho88b [EDIT] some noise emittings of the case: https://vocaroo.com/i/s1bTP9tdvoDK and https://vocaroo.com/i/s1dypIlfG9BO (gpu coil whine? ignore the bird chirping)
fredgalaxy101
I do get similar temperatures as you do, so seems normal to me (see below). Wifi-wise I get about 90Mbps at 10 meters through a thin wall. The noise level seems also pretty high. Have you checked if nothing is obstructing the top fan ? When I got my second machine (as the first one did not work). I was also bothered by some noise and there was a piece of tape stuck underneath the fan... backslashV
I atempted to take out the top fan and found the release button to be stuck. Questionable qualiy control for such an expensive device.

Questionable qualiy control for such an expensive device. its really not stuck but its a firm release button., it will only go in a bit, just enough for you to see the fan pop a little.. Careful not to pull the fan out at such an angle that it will damage the fan lock bracket later.

I've opened previous corsair one fans before with ease.
Corsair Employees Corsair StormShadow Posted March 19, 2018 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 19, 2018 Hi BackslashV, Interesting...can you attach a picture of the button? I recommend create a support ticket for this issue so we may replace your unit.
