jhfva
Bios is setup: SDRAM Frequency - 400 CPC Override - DISABLED SDRAM RAS - 7 SDRAM CL - 2.0 SDRAM RCD - 3 SDRAM RP - 3 CPU 2.4C with latest bios from Intel 12/04/04 (v22 I think) Memory installed in slots 1 & 3 I can test each stick individually and everything is fine, but when I test them together, MemTest-86 v2.2 reports 2 error during Test #5. The system is about a year old and worked fine until two weeks ago when the system started crashing with it stating a memory error before the blue screen of death. We've replaced the power supply. I keep thinking it's the memory, but I'm not sure. What should we try next?
Wired
If they test by themselves fine, then it's either a bad slot or the memory controller in the chipset.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 7, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 7, 2005 You might try Cass 2.5-3-3-7 and see if you have the option to set the Dim Voltage to 2.775 Volts. But I tend to agree with Wired!
