AKJohnny
I just picked up a set of TWINX1024-3200C2 to put into my Abit IC7-MAX3. The default voltage on this board is 2.6v. What would be the best voltage setting for this ram? Also, how do I know what type of chip, Samsung or Infineon, is on the ram? The stickers have the following printed on them: CMX512-3200C2 XMS3202v5.1 0502065-5 XMS3200 512MB 400MHz CL2 Thanks for the help!

leeghoofd
2.65 here for my Asus p4c800-E dlx with same ram. Runs fine at 2-3-3-6 at 2.65 volts, no errors on prime neither on memtest :D: Just test the ram with the auto voltage, if you have no issues I wouldn't give it more voltage. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 4, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 4, 2005 Well I would suggest 2.75 Volts for most MB's but you are welcome to leave it at default.
