lrspangler
I have a module from my TWINX1024-3200C2 that appears to have gone bad. When I booted up the machine one day, it gave me the error beeps at boot-up from the motherboard (ABIT IC7-G) indicating there was a problem with my memory. I did a few tests and tried changing things around and was able to identify that only one of the modules would not work. The way I did this was to try each module solo, just for the purpose of testing to see if it would boot. The computer would boot with one of them, but not the other. So I believe that the one module has gone bad. If there is anything else I need to do as far as testing, please let me know. Otherwise, I would like to request a RMA to get the module replaced. I was also wondering whether I would need to send them both back, since they were purchased in a TWINX configuration. Thanks, Richie

lrspangler
Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it! Thanks for the quick feedback, I was actually folowing your "I think I have a bad part!" instructions and was at teh following step: "Q: I'm not having good luck with the retailer/reseller. What do I do now? A: You need to request an RMA from Corsair. This request needs to have evidence of your contact with technical support, in the form of a post ID (Forum Post) number from the Ram Guy boards (which will appear on the Top-right side of your post) OR the Ticket# from speaking with our Tech support. This number will allow us to quickly identify and analyze the problem you are having with the part." Sorry I did not make that clear in my original post. I purchased the memory in Spetember 2003, so it was best for me to follow on the RAM guy boards. So, are you telling me I need to just reference this post and then fill out the RMA form and send it to you? Thanks, Richie
