J1mmy
I shut down my machine and plugged into a cable into the PSU. When I turned the machine back on, I got hit with this CPU error out of nowhere. I've been running this cooler for about 4 years with no issues. The plugs were not touched on the MB and the lights on the block to not appear. I'm beginning to think that it has died all of a sudden. The block cable is plugged into the CPU header fan slot with the fans into the block. I tried to reseat the block plug but still no response. I know the MB CPU fan header works because the fan spins up if I plug a fan directly into it. The molex is also connected. So what are my next steps? c-attack
Unfortunately, dig up the receipt and contact Corsair Tech Support through the ticket system. Sometimes it just happens that way and 4 years is a pretty good run. You might want to check the molex line and PSU for anything out of the ordinary, but it does not have to be a physical problem on the power line. An electrical circuit in the pump may have finally worn out.
J1mmy
I think I'll have to buy a new one. Can't find the receipt at all, and I suspect its been more than the 5 years warranty too. 4-5 years is good but it's just happened right at the wrong time! c-attack
Sigh... it is always the wrong time when these things quit. I know how you feel.
