CptnCerealHnds
Is there a way that I can put a 3.5" HDD into one of the 5.25" slots. I wanna get rid of both of the cages but I have one 3.5" HDD I need to keep.

CptnCerealHnds
So wait this will allow me to mount my 3.5" disk in my 5.25" bay?
snapper69
Absolutely. You can faten an ssd to the bottom of it or a 3.5 inch HDD to the holes in the sides. Then you mount the whole thing into the 5.25 inch bay and refit the blanking plate on the front so that you cant see it. There are other ways to do it, but they don't hide the drive away. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LT4CA5Y/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 or https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb_noss?url=search-alias%3Dcomputers&field-keywords=3.5+inch+hdd+internal+caddy&rh=n%3A340831031%2Ck%3A3.5+inch+hdd+internal+caddy
A.J.
You can also do this with SSDs, I did this a few years ago in the 650D: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=450831078419845&l=bd80c1f169 No more HDD cages and looks super clean with hidden SSDs. I have the 750D now in case you're wondering why I clicked this post, lol!
