I've been thinking about picking up this K70 LUX RGB refurb on NewEgg. However, I noticed it doesn't look the same as a new model which made me hesitate; the logo plate is different. In the thread I posted elsewhere, I was made aware of a K70 SE white model featuring the same logo plate. Going by that, along with the label on the back of this matching with a slightly longer model number that seems to indicate a special kind of refurb, and a box that just screams "manufacturer refurb", plus a year warranty matching Corsair's own refurbs (unlike the 90 day warranties other places offer), I'm thinking this is something new Corsair is trying. Like you mentioned, it is a refurbished unit, and does come with a 1-year warranty from Corsair. Let me know if you have any other questions.
