Corsair 400C PSU limitations

Hi guys,

I'm looking to replace my Corsair 650D with a new 400C, in an effort to downsize my case footprint while keeping all of my existing ATX stuff.

I have an EVGA 1200w PSU with a length of 200mm. It appears to be equal in size to the Corsair AX1200i (200mm).

The specs for the 400C suggest that the limit is 200mm for a PSU. However, I note this post from 2016 - http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=159438

The Flickr images have disappeared so I have no idea whether a 200mm PSU will fit or not, and if so, are there any caveats? Can someone point me in the direction of a completed build with a 200mm PSU, AX1200i or EVGA or whatever.

Thanks! Phil

You'll be fine, a 200mm PSU will fit fine in a 400C

Thanks for the reply, Greybeard. Will I still be able to mount the 3.5" drives in sequence with the PSU (that is, side-by-side) and also fit the PSU/HDD shroud? Sorry for all the questions, I've Googled like crazy and can't find any pics of my exact situation. :)
