zagor69
Hello guys! I just bought a LL120 RGB 120mm Dual Light Loop RGB LED PWM Fan — 3 Fan Pack with Lighting Node PRO (CO-9050072-WW) LL140 RGB 140mm Dual Light Loop RGB LED PWM Fan - 3 Fan HD140 RGB LED High Performance 140mm PWM Fan - 2 Fan Supplementary Corsair RGB Fan LED Hub Now, I bought a second hub because one manage just 6 fans and I'll have 8 installed. My question is about those hub's ports not used: 6 fans in the first hub, the remaining 2 in the second hub Those 4 ports unused in the second hub will give me problems? Tks in advance

Tks in advance Nope, shouldn't give you any problems at all. The RGB fan hubs do not need to be "filled up". Just add the correct number of fans to the correct LNP ports in Link and you'll be set. Tks for your answer I was asking because on its instructions booklet there's a note stating "Any fan not connected in series will break communication and the RGB LED lighting function will not work" That's the reason why of this thread
DevBiker
Right. They need to be in series ... 1 - 2 - 3 - 4. Using 1 and 4, for example, won't work. But the entire chain doesn't need to be filled. So ... on your RGB hub with only 2 fans, the fans should be in ports 1 and 2 only.
