drewbaby
I have a 2 year old stick of 512MB XMS3502v1.1 memory that returns read/write errors after only counting 417MB's of RAM during POST. I have tried this stick in an ASUS A7V880 motherboard and a MSI K8N Neo Platinum. Both boards reported the same error at the same point after counting the 417 Meg. The Set up for each board is as follows: ASUS A7V880 Athlon 1700+ @ 1466 Mhz FSB = 133, CPU Multiplier = 11 Memory Timings by SPD Interleave Disabled Tried 2.5V & 2.8V for the memory All Automatic overclocking features where disabled MSI K8N Neo Platinum Athlon64 2800+ @ 1800Mhz FSB = 200Mhz, CPU Multiplier = 9, HT Multiplier = 4 Memory Timings by SPD Interleave disabled Tried 2.5V & 2.8V for the memory All Automatic overclocking features where disabled I would like to be able to RMA this memory. Please advise.
