predator070
Recently I've been having trouble with crashing in all sorts of applications. I get a variety of errors ranging from access violations to "memory could not be read" and misc files crashing on me. I ordered a new backup hard drive recently and tried using that but the errors still came up. Next I removed one of my RAM sticks (I have 2x 512mb) and the crashing went away for two days. At this point I decided to try to swap in the other stick of RAM, and the crashes immediately started happening again. Do I have a bad stick? My motherboard is a Asus P4C800 Deluxe, and my RAM is CMX512-3200C2 (two sticks). Thanks in advance for the help.

I have a 2.8 GHz p4 with 800 FSB I'm pretty much using the defaults as far as BIOS settings go.

predator070
Maybe I'm missing something but my BIOS doesn't have any of those options in it?
