I am planning to build a couple of gaming Pcs for my office. Most of the employees are young and I want to create a great work environment. I am a gamer myself. So the idea of a gaming pc excites me too. We actually have a business internet connection by a major telecommunications provider so e-sports gaming should be easy.

The planned specification is. 16gigs of ram, an i5 7th gen, an MB that can handle a 7th gen processor. I am not looking for any fancy lighting. So will the vs450 be enough to power up the whole thing? or will I need the 550?

It will depend on the GPU that you get.

I would suggest going to PCPartPicker.com and building out the components that you are planning on using. This will give you an estimated max wattage for your build. Make sure to give yourself a little bit of a buffer as well and then select the power supply to meet the estimate.
