Bazooka Tooth Posted January 29, 2005 Share Posted January 29, 2005 I recently bought this ram TWINX1024-3200XLPRO This is my system specs HP Pavilion a564n Pentium 4 / 3.20 GHz (800 Mhz FSB, mPGA478) 865PE Chipset When i installed the ram the computer doesnt boot up at all, is there any settings i need to change to make it work or is it just not compatible with my computer. Wired Posted January 30, 2005 Share Posted January 30, 2005 Cleaned up the post a bit. Are you running it by itself or with the system memory? Either way, that system won't be able to take advantage of the timings because of the proprietary (and locked) BIOS. CMSS1GB-400 CMSS512MB-400 CMSS256MB-400 These are the recommended modules.
