JimmyNeutron
Hi, Just picked up a brand new K95 Platinum a few days ago during the promotional price of $169. Anyhow, since then, I've had the keyboard not being detected by my motherboard twice already. First time, I was unable to make an OS selection with my Corsair K95 but my Logitech K800 works fine. After booting into Windows 10 x64, the K95 was still not detected and I had to unplug and plug in the K95 USB cables to get the keyboard to be detected. Second time, only after Ubuntu 16.04.3 x64 loaded up that the K95 was working. The K95 was shipped with the latest firmware already and I didn't have to update it. Anyone else has this problem? I'll do some more debugging next time, but given that the keyboard is only a few days old, I may return it vs dealing with RMA. Thanks!
Corsair Employees Corsair Nick Posted November 7, 2017 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 7, 2017 Try updating your BIOS, chipset, and USB drivers to the latest. Also, log into your BIOS and try changing the xhci handoff and USB legacy settings.
