av8tor
Just replaced my H80 with version 2 because well it's 5 years old and was making rattling noises. Also my temps jumped up to 98c for no reason So since H80 worked extremely well for the last 5 years why not go with v2. I got it all hooked up and low and behold my temps did not lower at all. What I have done so far is 1. reduced the overclock,2 reinstalled pump, still no luck. I'm lost as what to do next. This is a 2500k oced to 4.5 on a Z68 asrock extreme4 gen3. I have had no problems what so ever with temps since I built this 5 years ago. Any suggestions as what to do next?
Zotty
Have you checked in bios to make sure PWM control of the cpu fan header is switched off>, it should be set to maximum rpm bud...
av8tor
yes the cpu fan 1&2 setting is "full on" in the bios. Only 2 settings, full on or auto mode.

Temps went down to normal. probably thru out a good cooler. oh well...thanks for your help.
