DDR4 4x16GB Vengeance Led pin & return issue

Hi everyone !

 

I got a question about the return service of one of my DDR4 Vengeance memory card.

 

I bought a 4x16GB pack some days ago and one of the cards have 3 torn pins, so I wanted to know if it's possible to return it to Corsair.

 

The main problem is that i'm presently working (i'm a graphic designer) with the 3 other cards, so if I decide to return them all in the pack, I will not have the possibility to work until I receive the new ones.

 

So is it possible to only send the damaged one and keep the others ?

You can't sensibly just RMA one of the DIMMs as it's a matched kit and the replacement DIMM might not exactly match the other DIMMs.

 

Your best option is an express RMA so Corsair send you 4 new DIMMs and once they arrive you return the old ones.

 

Log a call via https://support.corsair.com/ asking for an express RMA and remember to upload the original invoice.
