Hey,

so I bought the H100i V2 cooling unit and installed corsair link and there it shows me that my mother board is picking up that the cooling is at 127C. All of the other temperature are normal, the temperature for the cooler in a separate window shows it being 24.9C. Changing the profile dosent touch that specific reading all of the other ones seem to be affected. Dose anyone have an explanation for this? My mother board is MSI Z170A M3 and the CPU is i7 6700K.

Thanks for your help.

I could comment further if you ran my SIV utility and posted the Menu->Hardware->Sensor Debug panel.

What CL4 is reporting is a possible monitoring chip temperature sensor input, but it's probable that no sensor is connected on your motherboard. This happens from time to time with one of the many examples being http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=787963.

See http://forum.corsair.com/forums/showthread.php?p=853900 for how to attach a file/screen image to a post.

BTW your memory is running slower than I would expect and suspect you need to enable XMP in the BIOS.
