Becee7
Hey everyone, I recently completed my new build. I built in a Corsair 570x case with the H100i V2 mounted in the top of the case. The PC was running and cooling fine for the first 2 days. At the end of the 3rd I left the PC on and left the room for a few hours. I came back to find the hose had separated from the CPU Cooler and had sprayed water all over my new build. Is there any reason for this that anyone can think of? I don't know for sure, but it most likely cooked my new build. Just looking for some input, I exchanged the cooler and am going to put a new one on to test the PC. Please let me know if anyone has any input, or have I just lost the Corsair lottery?
red-ray
Corsair deal with this type of issue on a case by case basis. Take lots of photos and log a call via https://support.corsair.com/ explaining what happened. Remember to upload the original invoice.
snapper69
It would have been better if you had contacted Corsair before exchanging it, however, you may still be able to get some help from Corsair. Whatever you do, make sure that everything is completely dry before switching it on again.
