siamesedads
Hello! Recently purchased, and am loving, the product. One issue I have encountered that I didn't have with my cheap HP mouse is that when I go to drag a window to the other monitor, it gets caught at the split, asking if I want the window to take up half the screen (for the one being moved from). I then have to go to the other monitor to drag it the rest of the way. Is this a specific feature? Can I disable it?
Toasted
That would be Windows Snapping, It can be disabled via Settings app (Windows 10) or Taskbar properties (If i recall correctly for older versions of Windows). Does it occur when CUE is not running in the background?
siamesedads
This does occur both with and without CUE running. Turning off the snapping tool fixes that issue but then I can no longer drag maximized windows.
Toasted
I'm not too sure. If it happens on the Harpoon, it should also happen on the HP mouse.
siamesedads
But it didn't do that with my HP mouse. :/ That's where I'm lost and confused.
Corsair Employees Corsair Nick Posted August 23, 2017 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 23, 2017 Does increasing the hand motion speed while sliding have any affect?
siamesedads
Does increasing the hand motion speed while sliding have any affect? WHOA! I did not think of that being any sort of factor. If I move the window at a fast pace then it does not catch. Is there a way to edit the level of speed at which it will grab at the screen?
Corsair Employees Corsair Nick Posted August 28, 2017 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 28, 2017 I believe the Window snapping feature is the only way to disable it, which you've done before. I've had this happen with other non-Corsair mice, which makes it a Windows issue and not our software or hardware.
