CοrsairCustomer
I am consistently seeing extremely high DPC Latency for over a week now. I knew nothing of DPC Latency until I started hearing cracks, pops, and other assorted audio artifacts. http://i.imgur.com/atjazdJ.png I was even seeing major artefacts in videos: https://ufile.io/1csv7 Is anyone else experiencing this? Gelo
Your video looks like you are using an older version of IE instead of Edge that came with Win 10 on my One. Did you reinstall windows or other drivers? I do not have any of the latency or audio/video artifacts you describe. Are your temperatures normal? Have you tried a restore or using the MSI Live tool to get all the divers updated?
CοrsairCustomer
I posted the video just to show an example of the artefacts. Internet Explorer is in Windows 10, and is still more compatible with web sites overall than Edge. All drivers are at their latest level via the MSI Live tool, and I even tried newer nVidia drivers than the MSI Live tool offered. All to no avail. I've not checked sensor temperatures yet, only checked the temperature coming out the top.
silostrike
i'm having similar issues with audio through hdmi (cracks, pops, distortion), audio from the realtek drivers is fine for me though. i also had to disable hardware acceleration in chrome to prevent artifacts in videos
JanusZeal
I ran LatencyMon on my computer and the numbers were around 123-165. Not sure how you got 20,000 but that's crazy. Were you running any programs when you got this number? Also I noticed that your pagefault is 0 so the program doesn't seem to be running correctly. Have you tried running it as Administrator? CοrsairCustomer
I have 32GB in my One. Hard Page Faults are different to Page Faults. Running no other programs except those shown for testing, and the glut of task tray items. Running LatencyMon as Administrator.
stormin171
I just got my One today and I'm having the exact same issues with Audio and Video. I got the 32gb as well. Would definitely like some help with this if anyone has any ideas
stormin171
I've been watching my task manager and I believe it is related to "Windows Audio Device Graph Isolation". I have completely uninstalled Realtek Audio manager to no avail as well.
Corsair Employees Corsair Alan Posted August 15, 2017 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 15, 2017 Hey All, We are investigating the HDMI audio pop issue as well. Hopefully I will have a solution available if not we need to have your units submitted for RMA. Sorry everyone!
mgaskins
I ran LatencyMon on mine and got the same results and I only opened one Edge browser window and didn't click anything. I then ran LatencyMon on my old PC (9+ years old) rocking my core 2 duo 2.40 GHz (haha) which had 7 chrome windows open (you tube, nest cam, etc) and an edge window open just to compare because I don't know much about latency to be honest. Luckily I took a phone screenshot with Corsair One results because I haven't been able to boot it back up to get the screen capture.
Corsair Employees Corsair Dustin Posted August 18, 2017 Corsair Employees Share Posted August 18, 2017 This is definitely unusual behavior and not consistent with how Corsair One should function. Please contact our customer service and get started with tech support and an RMA.
mgaskins
I did around the same time that I posted. The box and RMA label should get here today or tomorrow, assuming the solar eclipse doesn't kill us all!
CοrsairCustomer
I'm still waiting for a resolution. I suspect there is a VRAM/CUDA issue and/or a PSU issue.
Corsair Employees Corsair Dustin Posted September 6, 2017 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 6, 2017 The high DPC issue is very likely a symptom of a bad PCI Express cable. We had a rash of these and it sounds like you were affected. We're actually working to fix these as fast as we can.
CοrsairCustomer
Is it possible to be sent a replacement cable? Does this also fix the intermittent failure of the hardware to boot?
Corsair Employees Corsair Dustin Posted September 11, 2017 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 11, 2017 Replacing the cable is an extremely complex process. You'll need to contact customer service and have an RMA issued.
domdomdom
There is a setting in the BIOS that fixes the issue without having to change the PCI express cable. See this thread: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=170302
Corsair Employees Corsair Dustin Posted September 27, 2017 Corsair Employees Share Posted September 27, 2017 Note that this solution only works for some systems. On others, the PCIe cable does need to be replaced.
