TheBSGamer
I'm having an issue with a single key ripple effect I'm trying to accomplish. I want a single key to create a ripple effect after I press the key. I created the lighting effect and assigned it to play from where the key was pressed, then disabled it so that way every key I press doesn't make the effect: I then made a macro for the key I want it to act as (X) and assigned it to the ripple effect: It works great, except every time I press the X key, rather than having the effect come out from the X key, it comes out of the P key and there is no way to change it. Is there something here that I'm missing here?
Toasted
I think the P key is the default location, Reassign the lighting assignment and see whether that changes anything.

You mean in the macro correct? After getting everything setup, I've tried going into the macro and reassigning the lighting setup and it still is just coming from the P key, whether that be when I click the test button or when I actually press the X key. I'm on the newest version of CUE if that has anything to do with it.
Toasted
No, the Ripple lighting effect, The X key should be the only key highlighted with a thin yellow border around it.
TheBSGamer
No, the Ripple lighting effect, The X key should be the only key highlighted with a thin yellow border around it. When doing that though, the key doesn't actually create the ripple effect that I'm wanting. The X key just glows for a second and then goes back to normal. I have to highlight the entire keyboard if I want the ripple to go through the whole keyboard.
Comet 1626864951
Rather than having two cocnsecutive actions keydown/keyup, you can insert a single keystroke macro instruction, to make your macro a bit more robust. You need to highlight multiple keys to ensure that the lighting shows up on the multiple keys. In some cases, hand-animation of the entire profile can be performed, where a key would trigger a profile change.
