Does anyone know why the Commander Pro is sold out locally? Online it takes a week to get. I am concerned about purchasing it.

Is it being discontinued?

Hi,

I don't know where "locally" is for you but a quick check of Amazon finds them in stock (well 1 in stock more on way). New Egg says in stock.

Yes there would be shipping time. If you have Amazon Prime, the Commander Pro is a Prime product so 2 day free shipping. New Egg is 3 day.

Amazon ship time is a week. Locally for me is Dallas, TX and none of the local stores, Micro Center, Frys, best buy, etc, have it.

Well at least you have a Frys and a Micro Center. I live in Orlando and we have neither. If we had a Micro Center, I would have bought an I7-6850K myself last week when they had them on sale for $299.00, in store only.

All we have here in Orlando is Best Buy, who I doubt would stock something like a Commander Pro.

So there is a disadvantage to living in Orlando then?

HA!! You are funny! A Disadvantage? I can name a dozen, starting with the closet thing to a computer store is Best Buy. We had a Comp USA, which turned into a Tiger Direct, which is now out of business.

Now on the up side (I guess), I can hear Disney, Sea World, and Universal fireworks every night like clockwork, and I can hear Hulk Coaster running at night if the wind is right. I live about 2 miles from Universal and 5 miles from Sea World and Disney. I am not sure if these qualify as Advantages... :o:

In the winter, when we get a cold snap (under 65 F), everyone freaks out, schools close, and people run around in parkas complaining about how cold it is. That IS an advantage. Summer I don't want to talk about.

Actually, Best Buy is starting to up their game. They sell in store HD120's, Lightening Node Pro, probably soon Commander Pro. The Best Buy near Millennial Mall should have em.
