jonzjr
Just a quick question before I decide to buy some memory... I want to buy an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe MB and run 1 GB of Corsair in dual channel mode. Would this pose a problem with either the VS1GBKIT400 or the VS1GBKIT400C3? Also, would it be possible to either get a short explanation or a link explaining the difference between these two kits? Thanks.

I cant find a link in Corsair's website that states this, but IIRC, this is the difference. Oh BTW, the 1GB kit is not the same as the TWINX series. Corsair doesnt test these modules in dual channel boards. According to RAMGUY, TWINX modules are made from chips in the same batch and are tested in dual channel mode. ImmortalZ
Thanks for the info. I might just have to take a look at price difference between the TWINX and VS... Other people have had working systems with VS kits in dual channel mode, but YMMV.
CMC_SAVAGE
IMO, if you're forking out the $$ for that MOBO, don't skimp on the RAM. The TWINX1024-3200XL would be the way to go.
