H100i not detected by device manager.

Win 10 creators, 9590 on Asus Sabertooth 990fx rev 2.0, bios 2901. Latest CL4.

My H100i is no longer detected at all. It doesn't appear in device manager, let alone CL4. CPU fan control from bios disabled ( never needed that before I tried!).

The fans run and react still in default. The RGB light is on on the cpu cooling block. I checked and rechecked that connection are made and to the proper headers. The only thing I can think of now is a bad mini USB to USB header wire.

Any suggestions beyond that?

Try using a USB-A to mini-USB cable if you have one.

  1. The SIV initial + [uSB Bus] + [Link Devices] + [Link Status] + [Link Fans] panels allow the root cause of many hardware issues to be determined and resolved.
  2. If you need help with a CL hardware issue I recommend attaching these screen shots to your post using names such as [Link Devices].png.
  3. You should also ensure your PC Specs are up to date and specify the Windows Build number.
  4. Check the devices are present on Devices and Printers and confirm that Windows Device Manager is not reporting any issues.
