Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 20, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 20, 2005 The module that you have is basically the first released version of our PC4000 modules, which when the time it was released, the official JEDEC specification for PC4000 was currently not released or available, therefore we have no option just to use the PC3700 ID, but it will and should run at the rated speed of PC4000. We will be more than happy to replace it for you, but then again that should run at the rated speed. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 20, 2005 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 20, 2005 Well If you are not having problems I would not suggest replacing the modules, because we still use a PC3700 SPD for XMS3700 and faster modules.
