I purchased twinx1024-4000pt 1 gb on 12/10/2003 and it has been great but there is a problem ....with any program that sees your memory it tells Me it is actually pc-3700 ...I thought it was a program glitch

I just purchased another 1 gb of twinx1024-4000pt and received it today...same program and it tells Me it is truely pc-4000....

will Corsair let Me rma it for a gb of pc-4000?

The module that you have is basically the first released version of our PC4000 modules, which when the time it was released, the official JEDEC specification for PC4000 was currently not released or available, therefore we have no option just to use the PC3700 ID, but it will and should run at the rated speed of PC4000. We will be more than happy to replace it for you, but then again that should run at the rated speed. Please follow the link in my signature “I think I have a bad part!” and we will be happy to replace them or it!

I was hoping to run 2gb on a k8n neo2 plat and the one 1gb is only rated to 232 ...so I will follow your suggestion and send it back...
