amd 64 3500 cpu

asus a8v deluxe rev 2.0

corsair twinx 1gb total 3200xl ram

video card and other hardware carried from other machine where it working fine

motherboard has been changed over with the same issue presing

memory management and irql not equal to or less than

mainly happens when running memory intensive programs

The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000001a

Please make sure the modules are installed in slots 2-4 and set the following settings and test them with http://www.memtest.org.

Dim Voltage to +2.8 Volts:

CAS Latency CL=2.0

Row Cycle Time tRC Bios Default

Row Refresh Cyc Time tRFC Bios Default

Ras# to CAS# delay tRCD 2

Row to Row delay Bios Default

Min Ras# Active Time tRAS 5

Row Precharge Time tRP 2

Write Recovery Time Bios Default

Write to Read delay Bios Default

Read to Write Delay Bios Default

Refresh Period tREF Bios Default

Enable 2T Timing Disabled

Then test the system with http://www.memtest.org and make sure it's stable! If you have problems, I would set Enable 2T Timings to AUTO and test it again!

I ran memtest before changing any settings

1 error during test 7 - refers to a bad address 6b83c68 @ 775.5mb

ran about 7 passes just over 3 hours but only the one error - even though test seven ran 7 times

The crashes im experiencing dont happen all the time though

will test again with the correct ram timmings if they arent correct to what you posted earlier

I have an antec True Blue 480w powersupply

I ran the tests through again last night In 7 passes 3 errors all in same sector

I have noticed the timings are 2-3-2-5

Will set them to 2-2-2-5 and test that

A mate has same motherboard cpu ram and psu no issues at all - never set the ram timing in his just auto detected by the bios like mine.

asus a8v has been swapped over as the first one was damaged the stop errors have continued between both motherboards

Please put the memory modules on either slots 1&3 or 2&4; make sure that you have the latest BIOS installed for your MB; load optimized/set up default, and set the following BIOS settings;

TwinX512 or TwinX1024-3200XL

Advanced CPU/Memory Configuration:

Memclock Mode: Limit

Memclock Value: 2:1 (DDR400)

Bank Interleaving: 4/Enabled

Burst Length: 8

SDRAM CAS Latency: 2.5T

SDRAM RAS to CAS Delay (tRCD): 2T

SDRAM Active to Precharge Delay (tRAS): 5T

SDRAM Row Precharge (tRP): 3T

2T Command Rate: Disabled

Jumper Free/Frequency Voltage Control:

AI Overclock Tuner: Manual

CPU FSB Clock: 200

DDR Voltage: 2.8 Volts

AGP Voltage: Default *unless you have ATI (9200 or 9600) or NVIDIA (5200 or 5700) then 1.6 Volts suggested!*

All other settings should be set to default settings! Then please test them one at a time with http://www.memtest.org and let's make sure it's not some other issue! I would run the test for at least 2-3 passes to be sure!

Im using this ram - TwinX1024-3200XL

I havent tried the above yet

after running at 2-2-2-5 with 2.8v and 2t command disabled 14 passes no errors at all but in windows the crashes appear to be happening more often.

Video Card - sapphire radeon x800xt platinum edition

I got the irql_not_less_or_equal

When I was getting the error before changing to the faster timings all of the errors reported were at 000307f89bc - 775.5mb in the ram During test 7

In the past i have also gotten

page_fault_in_non_paged_area
